New Car Aimed at Drivers With Parking Woes
September 30, 2005
Today was the last day to settle my dues with the trafic department, because i parked wrongly
somewhere here in Ipoh (Malaysia).
There were long lines of people queing up to pay their dues, some people owe
the traffic department RM 5000 , I however only owe RM 40…lol
There was a 50% discount today, so that was good, from tommorow onwards,no more
mercy from the traffic department.
which brings us to the new car created by Nissan, called THE PIVO

For drivers who find backing out of tight parking spots a hassle, Nissan has an answer: An egg-shaped car whose body pivots 360 degrees so that its rear end becomes the front.
ADVERTISEMENTThe Pivo, shown Friday at a Tokyo Nissan showroom, is still an experimental model and probably won’t go on sale publicly for several years. It is a three-seater electric car that looks like a big egg on wheels. Its body revolves in a complete circle while its wheels stay put.
Now that’s a pretty useful car…although to me personnaly, it looks U-G-L-Y…hahaa

Aids virus ‘could be weakening’
September 29, 2005
Apperantly the incurable AIDS Virus is weakening.
A team at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, in Antwerp, compared HIV-1 samples from 1986-89 and 2002-03.
They found the newer samples appeared not to multiply as well, and were more sensitive to drugs - some other studies argue they are becoming more resistant.
That’s however does not mean that there is a cure for it just yet, it just mean that
the virus is NOT as powerful as it was sometime back.
I guess that kind of stuff happens, i remember my uncle telling me (he in the pest control business) that few years ago when he used a certain pesticide the rodents would die…
but it’s not effective anymore!!!, He has to use another type of pesticide , cause it seems
that the rodents have been immuned to the older pesticide!

Burping Cows & Global Warming
September 29, 2005
I can’t contain my laughter..hahahahahahaaaaa,
It seems that some French experts have discorvered that cows are a huge contributors to global warming because of the methane emitted by their belches.
That simply means…Burping Cows!!!
By itself, methane is to blame for a fifth of the man-made greenhouse effect of the past 200 years. The good news is that, when it comes to cow farting, we can all breathe a little easier.

$USD 100 Laptop!!
September 28, 2005
yes it’s true, $USD 100 for a laptop.
Appreantly this laptop was meant for third world countries, where buying a PC is unaffordable.
Power for the new systems will be provided through either conventional electric current, batteries or by a windup crank attached to the side of the notebooks, since many countries targeted by the plan do not have power in remote areas.
