Luiz Felipe Scolari for England?
April 27, 2006

Sven has already been notified that his services for the England football team won’t be needed
anymore after the 2006 World Cup.
So, the talk of the town was who would be his replacement.
Some said Martin O Neil, Steve Mclaren..or Sam Allardyce.
But it seems the English FA is bent on getting the service of none other than “The Boss”
Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Scolari - affectionately known as Big Phil - has the perfect credentials to steer England to glory.
He was in charge of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup Winning Squad, took Portugal to the Euro Finals in 2004, only to lose to Greece.
He was officialy offered the job by FA chief executive Brian Barwick, after they received permission from the Portugese FA to talk to Scolari.
