Work begins on NY’s Freedom Tower

Construction of the glittering Freedom Tower skyscraper in New York has officialy begun.

The Freedom Tower is being build to tkae the place of the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan after the Twin Towers were destroyed by suicide hijackers who flew passenger planes into them.
