Wordpress Themes List
August 29, 2006
One of the first things you would want to do when you’ve done installing your Wordpress powered blog is to give it a personal touch, and you can do so with the help of hundreds of themes made specifically for Wordpress and some Photoshop skill.
I love WP very much and have been using it alot on many other sites that i run, you would have noticed i said ’sites’ not ‘blogs’ because WP is really a very flexible CMS (Content Management System), with a little PHP & Photoshop skill you could really transfrom WP into almost anything you need, although it’s quiet evident i’ve done almost nothing to this blog
.
Here’s a list of places you can find and download themes for your blog:
Theme Viewer
Highly recomended as your first destination as the Theme Viewer has thumbnails and even ‘test run” that allows you to test the themes in full working mode, a truly great feature.
Comprehensive List of Themes by Emily Robbins
Yet another good one, although there’s no thumbnails you should still take a peek at this site.
WPBoard
WPBoard is a membership based site that provides 1 quality theme per month (plus bonus if any)
and it costs $25 for an annual membership fee.
I’ve joined the site and so far i quite like the themes there, it can only get better.
The designs are done by Sergios Singkeridis
Template Monster WP Themes
As you would have expected, Template Monster jumped in as well into the Wordpress theme scene, you can find some quality themes there but of course expect to fork out some $$ too.
WordpressThemes.com
This site features themes that are scattered all over the net and link direct to the authors.
Before there was anyone else..there was Alex King. The themes listed here are compatible for WP 1.5, so do take note of that.
Yet another good site with some really sexy themes, best of all they are all FREE
If i’ve left out any please comment below or contact me so i can place your site in this list.
I’ll update this list whenever anything related pops up, so it would be a good idea to bookmark this page (CTRL + D)
Thanks!
