Certificate of Deposit of CD for short may be what you are looking for especially since interest rates are on the rise and altering your investment strategy is a definite must.
CD offers higher interest rates than savings accounts and are generally considered to be very safe and low-risk. Recent rates can be found as high as 5.75%. They also can be very simple investing tools, and do not take up much time once bought, but you should still do your research and ask plenty of questions. Some of the newer CD’s offered at brokerages pay variable interest rates and can even be callable.
The idea of a certificate of deposit (CD) is that you agree to leave your money untouched for a lender to borrow over a set amount of time. You are not allowed to touch your money or withdraw that money until that time period expires. At the end of that period, you are returned your initial deposit plus the interest payment that was previously agreed upon. If you choose to withdraw your deposit before the time period is over you typically lose the interest earned and even have to pay an early withdrawal penalty. Banks can typically pay a higher rate on CD’s than a savings account because they can better control how much money they in turn have to lend to others.

Pope Benedict XVI not apologizing for Islam remarks
September 17, 2006
Pope Benedict XVI who delivered a speech in Germany on Tuesday that has caused outraged among Muslims because his speech appeared to endorse a Christian view, contested by most Muslims, that early Muslims spread their religion by violence.
The Pope is ‘concern and “very upset” that his speech on Islam offended Muslims and expressed his respect for their faith, according to the Vatican, but will not apologize for it either.

The backlash has cast doubt on a planned visit to Turkey by the German-born pope in November. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood said the Vatican’s statement was insufficient and they wanted “a personal apology.”
“We feel he has committed a grave error against us and that this mistake will only be removed through a personal apology,” the Brotherhood’s deputy leader Mohammed Habib told Reuters. (Watch why pope’s remarks sparked such a storm — 2:31)
The Vatican spokesman’s statement came as Muslims across the globe protest Benedict’s remarks in scenes reminiscent of the protests this year following the publication in a Danish paper of satirical cartoons of Prophet Mohammed.

September 13, 2006
Yup, Keira Knightley herself has said that images of her with big chests are fake and digitally enhanced.

She says studio executives and magazine publishers have decided that instead of presenting her as she really is, she should be seen as a lot bustier in case her flat chest ‘turned people off’.
The actress says her breasts were digitally boosted for the advertising campaign for her 2004 movie King Arthur.
And i guess she’s not the only one!
