Eragon..now working in the real world..
February 1, 2007

Imagine being at the top of Hollywood albeit a few moments and now in this new year your back to reality.
That is what is happening to Ed Speleers who was the Hero in Eragon;
But weeks after starring with Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich, Ed, 19, is earning £7 an hour as a labourer building a Morrisons store in East Sussex.
A fellow worker said: “It’s a far cry from the red carpet. Edward is very much the brickie when he is here.
“He’s chiselling walls and puffing cigs in a hard hat and fluorescent jacket. He’s a nice, down-to-earth lad.â€
aww..what a pity
Borat and His Cheesy Past
November 27, 2006

Borat secured a £16-million deal for his next film, Bruno, making him Britain’s highest-paid actor, but few years ago he was anything but rich.
Borat or his real name Sacha Baron Cohen made his small-screen debut as a cheesy local TV presenter - and it’s not a Borat-style spoof.
Lead singer Lewis Batt said: “We looked down on him because he was working on a cr*p local TV show. I remember him using the phrase ‘interesting philosophical conundrum’. You wouldn’t get that from Kate Thornton.â€

£1m world cup insurance
May 11, 2006

Talk about insurance!!
Paul Hucker a 34-year-old England fan from Ipswich has taken out a £1m insurance policy against the trauma of England being knocked out of the World Cup early.
If England are knocked out in the first round of the competition, the insurer will turn to five sports commentators to see if their exit is premature.
Mr Hucker will then have to provide medical evidence showing that he has suffered severe mental trauma as a result if he is to get his seven-figure payout.
Amzing!..i think i’ll take that policy too!

Woman buys £5.7m for mum
April 22, 2006
Mother’s Day is around the corner (except if you live in UK that is), and the story of a Belgian woman buying a £5.7m house (old folks home) so that her mother could continue living there
is one of the best you’ll hear this year.
The home, Residence Margille in Knokke-Heist, was put up for sale after an argument between its former owners, reports De Morgen.
It meant an uncertain future for the 48 elderly residents - until wealthy estate agent Beatrijs Lietaert, whose mother lives in the home, stepped in.
