Natalie Imbruglia, the singer and former “Neighbours” actress, has split from her husband four years after they married in a beachside ceremony in Australia.
Imbruglia, 32, and Daniel Johns, 28, lead singer with the Australian rock band Silverchair, said they had “simply grown apart” after living on different sides of the world for years.
Imbruglia is based in England while Johns lives in Australia.
“While we are very sad that our marriage has ended, we want to make it clear that our parting is amicable and we remain friends,” they said in a joint statement. “This mutual decision has not been taken lightly or quickly.
Top Gears’s Richard Hammond Suffers Brain Injuries

Top Gear is one of the only programs i watch on TV these days ( the other being C.S.I & LOST), so it’s really sad to know that i may not see Richard Hammond in the show again.
The Top Gear host was left fighting for his life after a horror 315mph smash in a rocket-powered car, he did it as the show’s team were trying to break the land speed record in UK and he actually managed it at 315mph before the car suddenly turned right, crashed and somersaulted.
Witness Dave Ogden, who works for Event Fire Services — responsible for safety at the shoot — explained: “Richard was doing the final run of the day when things went wrong.
“The parachute deployed from the back of the car and there was quite a lot of smoke.
“The dragster veered to the right and turned over a couple of times then came to a halt.
“It was upside down and Richard’s head was dug slightly into the ground. The roll cage had buried in the grass and his head was pushed in the soil. We quickly cleared the area around his helmet.
“We were able to right the vehicle and cut the roll frame to release him and put him on a spinal board with a neck collar.

Talk about insurance!!
Paul Hucker a 34-year-old England fan from Ipswich has taken out a £1m insurance policy against the trauma of England being knocked out of the World Cup early.
If England are knocked out in the first round of the competition, the insurer will turn to five sports commentators to see if their exit is premature.
Mr Hucker will then have to provide medical evidence showing that he has suffered severe mental trauma as a result if he is to get his seven-figure payout.
Amzing!..i think i’ll take that policy too!
